Event Details

The University of Colorado – Boulder is a community with a strong tradition of service and a commitment to helping others. Over the past 50 years, more than 6,500 Colorado residents have served in the Peace Corps, helping to promote world peace and friendship in 139 countries around the world.

 

To honor CU’s strong commitment to service, Peace Corps Director Aaron S. Williams will be on campus to share stories of CU alumni who are currently serving overseas and discuss the importance of Peace Corps in today’s ever-changing world.  

 

The event is free and open to the public.

Immediately following the Director's speech, there will be a special Meet & Greet for CU Peace Corps Applicants and Nominees in the President's Room of Heritage Center in the Old Main Chapel.
